6 type of 3D format on our 3D TV

With our new 3D TV, we were browsing around and we can notice the 6 type of 3D format of our 3D TV. After several website browsing and paper skim and scanning on 3D format, we know that there are many type of 3D format exist.

First one, it called side-by-side. The technique is to place the left image and right image next to each other. By doing the side by side, vertical resolution is preserves but the horizontal resolution would be reduced.

Second one called top-and-bottom, It is similar to side by side but instead of putting image next to each other, the left and right image would be put in horizontal order. It is also the same case as side-by-side but instead or reducing resolution in horizontal, it would reduced the vertical horizontal and preserve the vertical resolution.

Third type called checkerboard. We check out this website on how to create the  image and we found this image below.

Forth one called wiggling or moving image. This image above is not fully show the wiggling image when it should be show as .gif but we have here is .jpg image.

To create this image we can use photoshop and make the animate gif image by using two image, one from the right and another one from left. We can set the speed with the animate tool. For more information on wiggling image please check in the link below.

We have last two type here, First one called line-by-line. It is the combination of the checkerboard and top and bottom format.

The other one is similar to line-by-line but it is on vertical instead of horizontal. It is combination of the checkerboard and side by side format.
